If my period is different every month how do I know when I ovulate and know when to take a test?

Buy the ovulation predictor kits from ebay or Amazon, then start testing 5days after the last day of your period..test twice a day if possible. Once you see the positive surge, then do the baby dance. Or take your temperature every morning, to see the patterns.

There are different ways to find that out. Ovulation kits, bbt and examining CM. U can take help of any of these to finf out exactly when u ovulate

Only bbt will really tell you when you've ovulated. Cervical fluid and OPKs just tell you that you may be about to ovulate.
