Nuva Ring?

I have been on the pill for years and just got off.

I was told to try the nuva ring, however (unlike the pill) one of the known side effects were vomiting. 
I have a severe phobia of this so I was hesitant to try it due to the nausea side effects.

ALSO, the pill practically destroyed my sex drive, so I'm a bit skeptical that this will have the same sort of effect

I was on it for a few years. Never experienced vomiting or weight gain. I did however get horrible headaches occasionally. Was my favorite birth control method. I decided to get of birth control altogether since all were giving me horrible headaches. Was best for my body to just stop taking anything. I would recommend this method to anyone wanting an easy & great birth control though.

Just started the Nuva ring Monday 3/9 and it's Thursday 3/12 and I was
Nausea this morning. Vomited stomach bile and water I couldn't keep down. Sorry for the TMI ladies. Currently switching from Depo to the ring.

I used the pill for 5 years the. The ring for 4. We just stared TTC in November so I stopped inserting the ring in October. While using the ring was more convenient, I did have some
Side effects . My sex drive was almost nonexistent. I did get headaches, monthly and gained weight. I did not have any nausea or vomiting. It did regulate my periods and make them very short& light. I think it's a good option as long as you check in with your dr- everyone is different but it's worth trying.

I used the ring for a few months. I did not like it. It was annoying during sex. I would somehow also have hairs that would find there way in the and get tangled around it. Wtf? After about 3 months of using it my vaginal and lips got extremely raw and never got to feeling better until I stopped using it. They said it was an allergic reaction.

I'm planning on using the nuva ring as my birth control after this pregnancy. My doctor does not think vomiting as a side affect is very common. 👍

I was on the ring for months and had not one sign of vomiting. My only side effect was some cramping. It worked perfectly for me . I was on the pill for 8 months and I gained 70 lbs. Thats why I moved to the ring, and I gained no wieght. My sex drive was ruined on the pill also, but once I got on the ring it was slowly but surely improving. I would recommend it any day.
