Due date help?

I'm currently 10weeks 3days. I went to the doctor for my first appointment and sonogram about 3 weeks ago. According to the doctor, my due date is October 31, 2015. When the doctor told me that, I was slightly confused. That's seems like too long. I was in the Oct. baby bump group , but their weeks and mine are not matching up, so I thought I'd try here.  If your around 10 weeks right now, what is YOUR due date? Help!?!

I'm 10 weeks 3 days today and my due date is Oct. 1st. Check with your doctor to be sure you're really as far along as you think. Mine originally thought I was due Sept 13 but then changed it after my ultrasound showed I wasn't that far along.

It's super hard to know when conception happens. Even if you know about when you ovulated. Once the sperm meets the egg it makes a really long journey to your uterus. It's not until it starts to imbed in the uterus that your body gets the cue that it's pregnant. This can take a couple of days up to a week. So that's why it's called an EDD. The date given by how you baby is can be more accurate up to some degree considering each baby like a person grows at different rates. They have a chart of development things that they should do be certain measurements. I would say I'm 11w3days and that would make you a week after me. Which would put you in October but not that far in October! Good luck and I hope you figure it out soon!

I also had some confusion with this. I'm currently 10w5d with an EDD of 9/29... Which is a week off from what I thought it should be. I thought I should be a week ahead of that with an EDD of 9/22. Dr said I was measuring a week behind that. I've done the math a million times and it makes no sense. That EDD would mean I conceived 2 days b4 my BFP. But I've heard of women getting multiple due dates in the beginning. Also baby is small and hard to measure so they are actually going off the size of your uterus. I'm guessing they will bump me up again at my next appt.

I'm due sept 13th 13 weeks today so you will be due early October ... Google due sate calendar and put in your last period date that will give you an accurate date ... mine was spot on off a due date calendar x
