Underwear problem?

My aunt gave me some new thongs and bras and my dad found them and got all mad about how I shouldnt wear unappropriate clothes. Ps- im 17. Is he too close minded and uptight?

Of course your dad doesn't want to imagine you in those. Just hide them and don't mix them with the other laundry.

Dads are generally going to be uncomfortable with their daughters sexuality... Pretty normal just don't show him the undies and maybe have your aunt or mom talk to him to come for him.

When I was younger and just started wearing a little bit bigger bras, my mom was never around to take me shopping for girl things like that so my dad had to, he wouldn't let me get any of the cool bras, he made me get the nude colored granny bras. Like nobody else is gonna see it anyway I should at least be able to enjoy it. So yeah when I started wearing smaller tighter underwear he totally didn't understand it was for me not anyone else, so now I have to do my laundry when he's at work.

Your dad doesn't wanna think of his baby girl wearing that kinda clothing because it's considered sexy I don't think he's wrong for being upset but if he makes you throw them away then yes he's being too uptight
