Weird smell (update)

I recently went to the dr because of foul odor during intercourse and I was told that everything was fine, no infection was found. I took that as an ok (I guess). No now I started my period a few days ago and it has a horrible smell and it's very dark and seems a bit clotty. My period is never that dark and I never have clots. Any thoughts of what the heck is going on, I did schedule another dr appt, just a little worried 😐😕
