Waiting for period after miscarriage...

I had a d&c on 1/20/15 and my doctor (who is horrible btw I haven't and won't go back to her) said it can take 4-8 weeks to get a period. I had period symptoms a week ago, mood swings, acne, constipation but no bleeding. Anyone else have something similar?
