When did you buy your baby clothes??

When did you buy your baby first clothes and how did you determine what to buy him or her. I went to target tonight with my husband and brought a few cute things but I brought them in the range of 3mos to 9mos. And I know I need to get fall/winter clothes but idk what to get!! Ugh how do you ladies do it???

My family is really superstitious so I can't buy anything until after like 7 months 😩

I've known since I got my positive that it would be a little girl 🙊 so me and my fiancé pick up a little outfit every week when we go to the store. We just pick alternating sizes {one week 0-3, the next 3-6, etc.}. Just keep tags on almost everything in case she gets here and is massive or something, that way we can take some things back and swap for bigger sizes! 😊 Also, check out the Carter's website! They have GREAT stuff and it's pretty inexpensive. And you can pretty much get things for any season year-round. Check out their clearance stuff and it'll have last year's winter coats and stuff!

I don't know the sex of my baby yet but I did buy a few pajama/footie sets because I'll be due in october so winter clothes are needed more. I bought some mittens to prevent face scratching and then some little onesies. I'm 9 weeks.

I would limit what you get as you have no idea the size of the baby. They may never wear newborn stuff. Or skip right over a size. Clothes can be purchased any time.

I'm holding off till I get to 30 weeks (I'm 24 wks now). And it has NOT been easy. I work right opposite a kids clothing store and I have to drag myself away.

I'm waiting till my baby shower in a few weeks. Currently I'm 30w. We have a handful of outfits, but people LOVE to buy baby clothes, so I know we are bound to get a ton, no matter if that's on our registry or not lol. All the little gifts I've gotten so far have been clothes. This kid won't need clothes for ages lol.

I bought clothes/things that I just absolutely LOVED and could not pass up pretty much since we found out the sex of the baby. We're got a lot of clothes that my niece has outgrown so we aren't buying much of her everyday clothes.

As soon as I found out I was pregnant (4w + 1d), I started buying baby stuff like his crib, change table, etc. I wanted until we knew his sex to buy clothing.
