What is a D&C

Ive heard the term but not sure what it is. I know I could look it up on google but I'd like to hear it from someone who's had one done.

I'm wondering if I should ask to have one done. I'm not prego but we are trying and the doc said I had a mass in my uterus they did a biopsy and said its nothing to worry about but I spot for months at a time and when I finally have a period it's so heavy. This last period lasted 3 days and I used ultra size tampons and overnight pads and was in the bathroom changing every 30 mins no joke.

Yesto scrap away anything in the uterus, miscarriage, polyps,fibroids. I just had two done. Since i have 2 uterus's. They were filled with polpys

I had one when i was 23. The doctor pretty much put me to sleep and scraped at the walls to get everything out. The sac was too big for my body to naturally go through a miscarriage without it being extremely painful.

I haven't had it done but it's done usually after a miscarriage to rid the uterus of all the contents. I had a mc but it just naturally happened so thankfully I didn't need one. I'm sure it's not fun emotionally.
