Omg I'm gonna flip out

My bf came home and told me he's going to spend $1600 on new tires/rims and some other shit for his car! We have a baby coming not to mention we have to finish her room not to mention we don't have $1600! I can't believe how selfish he is being and he has decided to do this before he even talked to me! He said he is gonna make payments but I just think it's so selfish and I can't believe him right now.
