How long after did u get prego after birth control?

I just got off the depo last October and haven't been on anything since. Haven't got pregnant so i joined Glow. We are really going to start trying for a baby. My question is- How long did it take for you ladies to get pregnant after being on birth control?

Hi all! I having been taking birth control since I was 15 years old. I'm now 23. I went off the pill last month in February, and bam, the next week I got pregnant. Right now I'm 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant.

On the pill for 3 years, got pregnant 2 weeks after coming off of it. I guess it depends I a persons body, really.

My last depo shot was August 2013! And I'm still TTC. We have been TTC constructively for 6 months but nothing :( I feel your pain! Baby dust to us aye! 👶

I was on the pill for about 10 yrs (19-29) I went off at end of January after I finished the pack. We're TTC and no baby luck yet. I know it has not been long but is it normal to feel a little disappointment when it's a negative so soon? How long has it taken others once going off the pill?

How long were you on depo? I did 3 shots so  1 year. Got the ok to start trying in January. Missed my window in January and no luck in February. I hear nightmare stories that it takes a year or more but I got my cycle back within 7 weeks of missing my shot in Sept '14 and have been almost spot on regular since. Tired of hearing all the negativity about post depo and looking for a ray of hope it won't take years to conceive!

I stopped taking the pill in October. I going out I was pregnant on 3/1.

I've heard that it takes quite awhile to get depo all of the way out of your system.. I was on the pill for about a year after having my daughter and it took us about 6 months to get pregnant again after I stopped taking the pill. Good luck to you! I hope you get some exciting news soon! :)
