When did you and your SO say "I love you" to each other.

My SO and I have been together for 10 mths  now.  Niether of us has said the "L" word . I've only had 2 major  relationships (1for 2 years,  the other for 3 years). We have very strong feelings for each other and tell each other "I appreciate you." I do care strongly for him, I'm just afraid to say it.  I would rather show him my appreciate him.

Two and a half weeks after meeting, my now-husband and I were ending a phone conversation when he casually said "okay, I love, you, bye........OH...SHIT, >click<" It just slipped.

I told him that was the meanest thing he could say to me (*because I enjoyed being around him so much and was so afraid to fall because man oh man, would it hurt not to have him even though it had only been two weeks.) We were fools for each other and still are; going on four years of marriage:)

Scientifically they say anything over 3 months is love but i think it varies. For some it just clicks others it takes a little. It took us about 6 almost 7 months before we told eachother.
