Anyone else *not* finding out gender until birth??

Sometimes I feel like I'm crazy to wait until birth to find out gender! But it's kinda exciting not knowing! Vote and share your reason why you're waiting

We're not finding out because there are so few surprises of this magnitude in this life... We don't want people to give us gendered gifts, and it'll help me focus during labour because I'm so impatient to know who's going to pop out!

We decided we didn't want everyone's opinions on names and all the other gender specific stuff. Not only that we wanted to have some fun with friends and family and have a betting pool open to guess date and sex. Half the money will go to the winner half the money goes to baby's diaper fund :)

We're waiting... the hubby's choice but im coming around to it... its fun cause everybody else is getting wound up cause they really want to know what we r having!

It's one of life's few surprises! It's not stopping me from buying cute clothes and stuff for the baby.

I am on baby #2. My husband didn't want to know with our first child and I wanted to know but waited. I am so glad I waited. This time around I want to wait til delivery and he wants to know but I am making him wait. Our family is upset that we aren't finding out but I could care less. As much as I hate surprises this is the one thing I love to be surprised with.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts on the matter! We're waiting to find out for the same reasons everyone else said. It's our first but we don't feel too disorganised for not finding out gender, if anything I feel less anxious! It's all very exciting regardless!

I'm finding out on Wednesday and everyone thinks I'm crazy that I AM finding out! I wanted to wait but I feel like I need to be more prepared lol it depends on the woman! Good for you for waiting though, I totally wish I could!!

I'll see if I cave tommorrow. Having detailed scans and poss amnio, I might see the sex even if I try not to!
