Gastric Bypass??

I want to get Gastric Bypass. I have done some research on it. But I was wondering if any women on here have gotten it? If so what are the pros and cons??

I have a friend who had a gastric bypass and she has a ton of stomach issues unfortunately-lots of pain and discomfort. She did lose a ton of weight at first but she gained most of it back within a few years. There are rules and restrictions for after you have this procedure and if they aren't followed, I think there are many issues.

I had the gastric sleeve surgery last May and I've lost 100 pounds. It is life changing - I view my relationship with food completely differently. It is not a solution to being overweight or having a food addiction - it's a tool. The sleeve is much less invasive than the bypass and has less overall complications. I would definitely  suggest finding a weight loss clinic nearby and see if they have any informational meetings or seminars. That's the first step.

My mom did this surgery, she has never been more happy about the way she looks.
She had cancer gained some weight and celebrated that she now is cured by doing this.

+ Lost 64 kilos
- Can't eat anything with fat or wheat
+ Feel so happy in her own skin
- Leaves alot of skin that gonna need another surgery

You have to be sure that this is what you want because it's a hell. But the results are amazing!
