Not finding out gender

My husband and I decided we want to be surprised when our little blessing comes... There are so few surprises in life anymore! Anybody have some tips on the best way to prepare for baby w/o gender to go off of?! We have thought of getting two coming home outfits but struggling a little with what to do as far as a car seat, family requests for gift ideas, and room decor. Would love some neutral ideas from anyone willing to share! Thank you! 😊
