Discussion of pregnancy?

Question

How did the discussion of having babies come to you and your husband? We were naturally going to start on our honeymoon but now we postponed until we buy a house next summer. Also how old were you when you had your first?

Hubby just said he wants a baby and doesn't want to be an old dad lol. Baby boy is due in May and I'm 25 he's 31. He's already talking about a second baby!

Surprise baby! I was 23 my husband 34. Then on the next ones we decided based on his age (not wanting to wait too long) and my career (not wanting to start and stop bc I like to be home with them for their first 1-2y at least)

When we got married I was 31, my husband was 34, so we had no intention of waiting all that long. We'd talked about kids someday way before we even moved in together. After we got married, we waited until my job was stable and tossed the contraceptive and boom, pregnant.

We were at my sisters wedding and in August and then decided to start trying in October.  Then we decided to hold off for a bit but ended up having an unplanned pregnancy in October anyways.
