Ovulation without LH surge?

I have been on clomid 100mg and in my last scan  on 03-12-15 my doctor said I would most likely ovulate in the next 36-48 hours. I have been using opk and they keep showing negative. Can you possibly ovulate with LH surge?

My last dose of Clomid, I never got a positive OPK result, but did ovulate according to my d21 blood draw. Good luck!

Actually on the opk instructions it states that Clomid can give you a false positive or false negative.

I have also been having a lot of cramps and breast tenderness. Which are usually ovulation symptoms.
