Need Advice!
My husband and I have always said I that he along with my mother would be the only people in the delivery room. Now that we are expecting (9w) his parents are dropping hints that they expect to be present.
My husband hasn't addressed the topic directly with them (as they haven't asked directly) but he has asked me to reconsider letting his mom be present. He understands it's my decision but wants me to be open to the idea.
My perspective is that I want calmness, peace and reassurance during delivery. None of those describe his mom. In fact we aren't that close and she is a bit of a drama queen.
I need advice! Who will you allow to be in the delivery room?
