Peanuts??

Question

So I have never had an issue with peanuts before in my life.. But today I was eating some and the roof of my mouth began to swell and hurt bad. I stopped eating them and it went away? Has this happened to anyone before? I will definitely be bringing it up to my Dr at my next appointment .

You can definitely develop food allergies as you age. I never had any until the last few years. Peanuts in particular give me blood blisters in my mouth when I eat them and pineapple makes my mouth and throat itchy and burn. I have other allergies and I'm trying to figure out which foods trigger them! Since I've been expecting, I haven't had any new allergies crop up just yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it's possible.  I'm assuming our crazy hormones can cause new allergies. I'd check with my doctor if I were you.
