How soon should I get blood work done?

I got a positive about two days ago in the middle of the day and I'm just wondering when I should call a doctor for blood work and yada yada? I wanna make sure I pass it because I got a negative blood test on Saturday but then finally got my first positive hpt on Monday with a first response.

I called the doctor and made an appointment right after I got my BFP. They gave me one for the following week. They are usually so busy that it is hard to get the appointment right away. Definitely call. Congrats!!

My Dr won't see me till 8 weeks. Then he will do the confirmation blood work and so on. Then at 10 weeks do an ultrasound. I called and made my appointment two days after my positive test

I actually never got a blood test done. I'm 20 weeks now ☺️
