Cream to prevent stretch marks?

A lot of creams say they help stretch marks fade. I was curious if they have any that prevent them? I know technically nothing prevents them but genetics, but I was just wondering what you all had success with. Thanks!

I have been using 2 things. 100% raw shea butter and Basq. Since I had previous stretch marks from my first pregnancy. Great combination no bad smell. Also helps with itching and keeps your skin moisturized. You can use it anywhere on your skin. Does great with sensitive skin.

I haven't been trying to prevent just moisturize and keep from being itchy. I tried multiple lotions and creams always within hours my belly would be itchy and dry flaky skin. The only thing I found that helped was "mothers friend"  original body and skin lotion. It says lotion but it is not it is an oil. I put it on after I get out of the shower and let it soak in for a few minutes before getting dressed it has done wonders. Doesn't smell the best but I can tolerate that!

I tried Cocoa butter from bodyshop. Both the stick for strechmarks and the cream.

I got them anyways. In week 13, after I lost a lot if weight with my first. On my arms, legs and thighs. I am not a big girl, so was kinda suprised about my legs! The ones on the belly and hips came later, and was pretty deep. I think I am geneticly doomed to get them, also got strechmarks when I hit puberty :(

They are not so visible now, but I have a pizzadough-belly with loose skin. Will probably not get any better with twins 🙈🙈

Nothing will prevent them... And anyway.. Be proud of your stretch marks..

I was told to stay hydrated, and keep the skin moisturized. But there really is no way to prevent them.

Yeah, with twins they are probably unavoidable, but I was just curious. I have like two on each hip from a few years back. Wondering how my stomach will look as I progress and babies grow.
