Does anyone else have this problem?
I made 18 weeks yesterday. Last week, I started feeing movement. I've been asking my husband for a few weeks now to talk to our son, and he'll say a few words but that's it. This week I asked him to start reading to him. I just want him to be familiar with DH's voice, but he says he's uncomfortable talking to my belly. I said "you don't have to talk to it. Just read something on your phone out loud next to me" so he did, but he's still real uncomfortable about it. I asked him if he was embarrassed bc it's just me. He said he's not sure if that's why or not. Any suggestions on how to help him with this?
My dad talked to me so much in the womb (worked offshore 7 and 7 also), that when I was born, 4 hours old, I was nursing and he walked in the room talking and I lifted my head to turn and look at him, obviously recognizing his voice. I want our son to recognize DH's voice too.
