I'm 19 and looking for advice on what would be the best birth control for me to use without using the pill, or condoms. I'm in a monogamous relationship with my boyfriend he either wears a condom or pulls out when we have sex. Last week we discovered that after we had sex the condom broke inside me before he pulled out, I guess leaving his semen inside me. Scared the crap out of me and luckily I'm on my period now. I know that condoms are a very good choice but my boyfriend hates them so much sometimes he protests. I really don't want to start going on birth control. My dr. suggested maybe FemCap, a cervical cap to be used with a spermicide gel. That seems awful to use and I've heard that some guys can actually feel it during sex. I don't know, maybe I should go on birth control, to keep things simple? Will using a spermicide gel like Gynol II alone work as birth control? I really need some good advice.😊
