Need to vent!

I work as a child abuse investigator and just finished a 3 day training, mainly covering sexual abuse. Granted, I love my job and can normally deal with the details on cases because the bad ones are few and far between. This training, however, had so many graphic details of horrific cases in just 3 days... my brain is nothing but kiddie diddling right now (forgive the dark humor, but its how a lot of us cope with this job).

If I hear the phrases "he put his finger in my butt" or "digitally penetrate" one more time this week, I might scream... I just don't understand the gratification that a person, especially a parent or grandparent, can receive by having small children participate in these acts. At this point, I don't even want to think about sex in a positive context for a few days. I'm a little sickened by it at the moment.

Typically, I don't take my work home with me, but this training has left some horrifying cases in my head. If anyone has ever worked in this field, I'd be happy to hear what you've tried in order to clear your mind after work.
