Is air bed safe?

I sleep on a air bed I was wondering is it safe for newborn? I brought a bassinet for him but what if I want to lay around with him and bond with him , is it safe to lay him on the air bed?

I wouldn't risk it hun. Sometimes we fall asleep with baby. I have done it because I was just so tired. Had my daughter in her little bouncer swing thing, and was playing with her and boom, fell asleep on the floor. My sister came home from school and actually took care of my daughter when she woke up so that way I could sleep. An air matress is really soft compared to a regular matress.

I slept on an air mattress when I had my five year old I co-slept with him and he's perfectly fine just make sure the baby is on it's back or side with it's head on ur arm so the it doesn't roll and u guys will be fine
