Tmi vaginal discomfort / pain

Hey ladies! I just found out I'm pregnant, I'm 4 weeks. I have been feeling like a had a yeast infection, had a little discharge, some swelling down there and in general it just hurts and is very sensitive. I work in a lab so I checked myself for yeast infection but that was negative. I do have a lot of white cells which could mean an infection.. But I was wondering if any of you have experienced this and is it normal? I'm pretty sure I don't have a yeast infection but I don't know how to treat this. I made a dr apt but it's not for another week so I need some relief soon! Help :) thanks
