Should I still do a hpt or not bother?

2 days ago I had brown discharge all day not much of it just a small amount.

Yesterday I had spotting on and off all day some light bleeding then just brown discharge again then spotting again.

I had sore breasts a week ago for a few days.

I'm 14-16 dpo.

This morning I woke up and when I went to the toilet there was a lot more blood.

Still not as much as a normal period for me but a lot all the same.

Do you think this is my period?

Or do you think I should still do a hpt as could still be implantation?
