Symptoms of miscarriage?

We're there any signs that you were going to miscarry? I'm 5 weeks pregnant with my first and not experiencing any symptoms besides minor cramping, slightly sore boobs, and #2 problems. I have had brown spotting a few times. We're these signs of low HCG levels? Since pregnancy tests detect HCG levels, could you just take a test to confirm you're still pregnant and not having a miscarriage? Sorry for the dumb questions. Just trying to figure it all out!

I think if the bleeding gets heavy with a lot of bad cramping is when you should start getting concerned. Also, if you're miscarrying, a pregnancy test may start showing negative results. As for #2 problems, my mom always said she would have like 5x more a day in early pregnancy but never got nausea and so she called it "morning shit-ness". 😂

Bright red blood was a sign of my first and severe pain was the sign of my second one. Mild cramping is normal and spotting can be normal as well as long as it's not bright red blood or heavy

I've seen the midwife today, my first meeting, I've had Brown spotting a few times (I'm 5 weeks 4 days) she said its nothing to worry about... Worry if you ha e bright red blood and /or cramps that double you over...
Sore boobs, fatigue, bloating.. All good signs.. Good luck, keep calm and always ask for reassurance if needed xx

Brown spotting is old blood. I had that after my first appt. then I started spotting red a little. Only one time when I wiped on 3 different days. I called and got a u/s. The dr said I was measuring 2 weeks behind and I had a subchronic hemorrhage. I was on pelvic rest for 2 weeks and during those 2 weeks I had more bleeding. Dr said I would Cuz of the hemorrhage. Went to the dr Tuesday and was told there wasn't a baby. I go for my d&c tomorrow.
