Should I test?

So I'm on my first month of TTC after a m/c in October 2014. I had my period - or so I thought - last week. Today, however, I got hit with a wave of crazy nausea and fatigue similar to what I had when I was pregnant with my son. Even though I had a "period," I'm wondering if I should test. Or am I just getting my hopes up? Thoughts?
