How correct are digital pregnancy tests?

I've been reading a lot lately that woman have received positive pregnancy tests but when they do a digital test its negative, I did a pregnancy test at  5 days to period and got negative digital pregnancy test but I just don't feel right since 6 days till my period I have been getting slight cramping ,bloating and slightly swollen breasts!  WHICH since my period first started I have never got until the time my period comes!  Help?

I had a positive at 3 days before af with a digital. And my hcg was normal for being 3 weeks Prego. I found out super early.

I found out I was pregnant with a Digital pregnancy test I was 5 weeks pregnant at the time. It all depends on your Hormone levels and give it time. I'm period was one day late n I took it and it was correct.

They're just not as sensitive so they don't pick up the hcg as early. They're accurate if you wait until your missed period to test.

They're accurate but don't pick up the hcg hormones as well as line tests. I got a negative on a digital and a positive on a first response dye-test. It wasn't until days later that I took a digital and received a positive result.
