Nurses?

Question

Any nurses out there pregnant or have kids?

I also work in the medical field and am trying to conceive. As most of you know it's hard being in that field when trying to conceive. I have been working with several chemo patients recently. I have been following procations but am so nervous it's going to effect me or my future baby. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm a nurse and have a 2 year old and am now expecting our 2nd child. I'm super careful to follow all precautions and I try not to take really infectious patients if I can avoid it. I try to drink lots of water and eat small amounts through the night. Getting enough sleep when I work nights and have to come home and take care of a rambunctious toddler is an impossible dream, but I do the best I can to rest. Good luck mama.

I work at a hospital but not a nurse. 12 hour night shifts. It is harder to conceive because of the hours and everything is off when you work nights too. My unit doesn't handle chemo. I wouldn't think it would affect you getting pregnant but handling those meds and being exposed while pregnant probably isn't a good idea.
