Due date moved back?

Question

According to my ultrasound and her measurements, my due date moved from Aug. 9 to Aug. 16, but my doctor is choosing to keep the original one so far. Should I expect her to come later or what? I have family coming for her birth and I don't know when they should expect to come anymore.

my first due date was June 9. then at the ultrasound the tech said June 12. then June 9 again. now I have to have another ultrasound because I'm measuring 2 weeks bigger which would make my due date May 26. it's pretty confusing haha

Babies are only born on their due date about 5% of the time. It's not something you can really schedule.

Usually they wont change your due date later in the pregnancy, in the earlier weeks all babies pretty much grow at the same rate but after like 12 or so babies can grow faster or slower from one to the next.
