Cramping on Clomid

I'm on my first round of clomid and as of Monday I hadn't ovulated but my follicles were good size so they figured by Wednesday I would ovulate. They have me testing daily for ovulation and I still haven't had a positive. I am having lots of pressure on the side with all the follicles and almost like dull cramps non stop. I'm uncomfortable and frustrated. Does this sound normal? Could I be ovulating later than expected? I'm on cycle day 17 now.
