Lots or cramping and sharp pains, help?

Today I am 3 days past ovulation. I can feel ovulation and got positive opks 4 and 5 days ago. I had such severe pains in my uterus today that I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital. This was not ovulation cramping as I can feel those and have already experienced that this month. This also does not feel like AF cramping thus was very different and sharp pains. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts on what this is? Thank you ...
