High School Problems

So I like this guy and we've been friends since the beginning of the year.We play online together and we Skype with friends and we talk sometimes when we switch classes HOWEVER I have been subtly flirting with him since the beginning of January.He hasn't noticed because hes super shy and hasn't given romantic relationships a second thought but because I think I'm the greatest thing that has happened on this planet,I thought I could change his mind.But then I found out that he likes a girl I know.Shes basically the opposite of me kinda.She small,unlike me who's kinda tubby, and she's well white and I'm black but we are both smart and have good grades.But I guess she looks innocent to me,whereas I have just a derpy personality and humor that makes people generally upset.But I don't know.Is there any chance he could?I just wanted to like let that out because my friends just don't really care about my problems sometimes.Any advice?
