I would try a different test, I was always told blue dye tests are much harder to read and the dye fades much faster than pink dye. I had a pink dye test I bought from the dollar store, and an ept test, after about an hour the plus sign was gone from the ept test, and after about 6 months of pregnancy, the dollar store test still showed a positive result
