Is it possible my body is unable to go into labor on its own?

According to my LMP today is supposed to be my due date, however at my first ultrasound at 12 weeks they pushed it back a week so official due date is April 9th.  This is my 5th baby and I have been overdue and induced with all of my previous babies.  I am starting to think that my body just doesn't go into labor in its own! I am worried because this baby hasn't been moving a ton and if they are off on my due date like I think they are then my baby is at risk of staying in there too long :(. I just had a non stress test and biophysical profile done two days ago but am still just feeling like this baby needs to come out soon! I would die if something happened to him from being in there too long!
