Feminism is not misandry. Feminists do not hate men, or believe that women deserve special treatment. Feminism is the belief that men and women are equal, and should be treated as equals, with equal rights. Women and men should get paid the same amount for the same amount of work. Women should be able to receive the same amount of education as men. Both men and women should be protected against sexual assault, and victim blaming shouldn't be acceptable. Feminist believe that what people do with their bodies is their choice, and they should not receive backlash for it. Feminists believe that women should not feel oppressed, and neither should men.
