How long was you with your OH before you got engaged?

Me and my boyfriend are thinking of gettig engaged. We've been together 10 months. He's the love of my life and we pretty much are together every day. Could any of you ladies tell me how you got engaged. How far long in your relationship was it?

We met April 4 2013. Got engaged May 3, and we married June 5 2013. Second anniversary is coming up!!!!

My SO popped the question on our 5 yr anniversary. He had arranged this walk down memory lane, going to all these places we'd gone to throughout our 5 years.

Early dating always feels great, and your always with each other and happy and in lust, it's if you decide to stick it out when things get a little boring or a problem comes up and you guys need to make decisions together is when you learn you can and want to spend the rest of your life w someone. Give it time to get engaged. You usually don't know someone completely for about 3 years. Obviously trillions of people on here have met someone gotten married and made babies with in months and have made it last but, for me, I'd rather do myself a favor and be sure about something  like this.

Me and my now hubby got engaged one year before we got married and we were bf and gf for 10 years before we got married.

We were together for 13 months before we got engaged. There wasn't a proposal or anything. We just went and picked out a ring. We were married 3 months later due to health problems of mine, and I got pregnant that night, if not soon before, and had our son 9 months later.
