Soda stream?

Does anyone have a soda stream? Is it really cheaper than buying pop/soda? I've been thinking about buying one but I'm not sure if it's actually cheaper or not.

I love my soda stream. I don't like sweets like soda, but I make my own flavored waters. I'll carbonate, then add mint and lime, or cucumber or lemon, or strawberry/blackberries and mint. Super yummy!!

We do. And yes. The bottles are 1 L I believe and each bottle of flavor makes about 10+! Huge $$ saver! And they have SO many more flavors now than they started with. Good investment.

I love love love mine. I don't drink soda but I love soda water with fresh fruit! Delicious and healthy. Recycling the co2 cartridges is kind of a pain. My whole family loves it so it's worth it.

I don't have one personally but we sell them where I work and people seem to love it. It definately is cost efficient and also it's a lot less calories compared to buying regular canned Pop. You can also add any flavours you'd want by simply adding anything to your carbonated water. You can add lemon slices, mix kook aid on your own.. Etc. another good thing is that it saves electricity as well because it's just a carbonated cylinder doing all the work ;) definately try it out and if you don't like it just return it

I tried one at a friends house, and if you like the taste of diet soda without the benefits, then you'll love it. I tried the sprite and coke wanna bes, and they tasted like the "zero" versions of them. Truly awful. I'm an avid soda drinker and I'd rather just go to Costco and buy the flat packs to save money than try to wrangle that thing. Also my friend was telling me you have to get the bottles picked up and new ones delivered or something. Sounds like a headache to me.

I think it depends on how much soda you drink. We have one and I use it occasionally to make some for my husband. I think for us it would just be cheaper to buy soda than him getting that because of how little we use it.
