I love my husband's family more than anything. But being around all of them on holidays like today is just a huge reminder that we are the only ones without kids. Their family has a bassinet that has held every grandchild and great grandchild of my husband's grandmother. My SIL just stopped using it and one cousin made the comment about who will be the next one. But most of the cousins are done havig kids (even though they are younger than me). So I know she was waiting for me to say something but I was biting my tongue to hold back the tears.
