Positive ovulation test before af?

Question

The ovia app says i was supposed to have my period on the 4th. I always have bad cramps a week before my period and I thought i will have it because i had bad cramps on the 4th. But nothing... Now i am in CD30 and my cycle is usually 28 days.  
I took a HPT this morning but it was a BFN. 
I also just took an OPT and it's a faint line. How is that possible? Can this be an early pregnancy sign? Or have anyone ever seen a total negative ovulation test??
There are no signs of AF btw.

Your always gonna have a faint positive for ovulation tests it only gets darker when u get closer to ovulating. But if you get a positive ovulation test then u might be pregnant. I tested that theory and its true.

We usually will always have some lh in our system which is why you are getting a faint opk, but it's always a negative unless the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. You may have ovulated a little later than usual which is why you are getting a BFN, or why AF is late. Good luck to you!

Faint lines happen for me my whole cycle. Some degree of lh present. You ovulate when there is a leutenizing hormone surge.
