What day is cycle day 1 after a miscarriage?

I started miscarrying March 13. I officially passed the sac, heavy clots and heavy bleeding March 14. Is March 14 considered as day 1? I did not have a d&c. I know its almost impossible to tell but around when would I ovulate? Can anyone help me with this please?

Hi Pasha, I'm very sorry for your loss. I believe that day 1 is when the sac comes out, so that would be March 14.
Personally, I had a miscarriage in dec and the next cycle was anovulatory - I know that because my period took 9 weeks to come so I went for a scan while waiting and the scan showed no ovulation at all. But I was told that it was normal not to ovulate in the cycle immediately after a miscarriage.
