Uterine Fibroid Embolization

Kate • I'm a 30!year old mom, dog mom, navy wife, yoga enthusiast, beginner runner, crafter, and sociology major.
Hello all! I'm 27 years old and TTC after 6.5 years of marriage. However, I think we may have some problems. When I was 25 I found out that I had three MASSIVE fibroids (one the size of a grapefruit) that were affecting my health and would prevent me from having kids. The largest one was against the back of the uterus meaning it would have been hard to reach with traditional surgery, and there was a lot of risk with removing it because it was near my uterine blood supply and my urinary tract. Due to this, I opted for the non-invasive radiology procedure known as uterine fibroid embolization (UFE.) I'm hoping to touch base with other young women who have had this procedure and managed to concieve afterwards. I'm really hoping I still CAN concieve, so advice and stories similar to mine resulting in pregnancy would be appreciated!
