we formula feed but my daughter has to be on a special formula so her insurance pays for it so we only spend about $150-$300 a month, and thats buying her clothes, toys, accessories, diapers, wipes, shampoo, otc meds, etc...

My biggest 'cost' was my lost income. Totally worth it but you absolutely have to factor in earning a lot less before thinking of expenditures.

Breastfeeding so less than $200/month.  Baby is almost 3 months old.  So far we really haven't had to buy much besides diapers and wipes.
