Counting your water intake - does tea count?

Stupid question I'm sure, but when you log your daily water intake in Nuture, are you counting tea which is pretty much water anyway (I have rooibos tea which is caffeine free) along with your cups of water, or literally just water?

What kind of tea are you drinking? 
I went to the er the other day and they said drinking 8-10 cups of fluids everyday water juice tea soda 8-10 cups does not matter which was very interesting.

Absolutely - I wish it said "fluid intake" because that's what's important.  I'd do your research on teas that are safe for pregnancy, though.  And watch caffeine if you're drinking green/black (I was told it's ok, but be mindful of how much!).  My OB said herbal teas are absolutey fine!  There are even some pregnancy teas out there you might want to check out :)

Ahhh rooibos is my favorite tea in the world :) I'm half south African so I have family that still lives over there and they send me care packages with rooibos and things for the baby. Sorry I sort of geeked out, I've just never had someone else like this tea before and I got excited lol and I count tea as water too since I drink it black

Tea doesn't count. At least my dr said its a no-no. Just got in trouble for counting it as water so it's now off my list and back to straight water...yuck!!!

I count tea as well as water! But I drink regular, black, decaf. I think if you put anything other than a tea bag in the water you shouldn't count it..(cream, milk, sugar, etc.)
