When do they check for dialation ?

I'm going to be 38 weeks tommorow and they havent checked to see if i'm dialated or effacated and its hurting me a lot down there

yeah they should already check you , you can always ask . I'm 38 weeks and asked today because it's been hurting down there for me a lot too but they said unless i'm having contractions they won't check me 😒 idiots

You shud be checked at your next appointment, when I was pregnant with my daughter they started checking around 37w I believe
