Birth control ruined my sex drive?

So I've been with my boyfriend for almost 6 years, and we are very happy. But ever since I got back on birth control I never want to have sex. He has a very high sex drive and I don't want to ruin our relationship. We still have sex just not nearly often enough for him. It's uncomfortable, almost painful for me at times. I'm not sure if this is because of the birth controls pills I'm taking. Anyone been through something similar?

BC ruined my sex drive and made me quite dry sometimes as well. I came of it last year when we started TTC and problem went straight away.

Bcp can either up your sex drive or practically steal it from you.. Ive been on a few different brands that have completely stolen any desire to have sex and it deff wasnt fun! Try talking to your dr about getting a different brand. 
If sex wasnt painful before and it is now you need to bring it up with your dr. Its either from the reaction of the bc or theres something going on down there. Once I had changed bc due to no sex drive and shortly after sex hurt. I thought it was cause of maybe not being ready enough for it but then it turned out I had BV and just didnt notice any symptoms.

Yep. Did the same to me. Took myself off the pill & I'm back to normal.
