Im now ttc for 11 montns now shud i be worried?

Hi ladies im wanting to know how long it took you? Im now ttc for 11months, its fustrating me alot, i did do a cd3 blood test and vaginal ultrasound all turned out normal apart frm my free testosterone was Very slight abit high..dnt know if thats a problem?  But it'll be a great help if you ladies gave me advice? I really dnt have anyone to talk with  about ttc.. Help please

Medical statistics show that usually, it takes a couple who regularly have sex at least a year to get pregnant. It took me a little over a year. But, I didn't hesitate to get blood testing to find out that I had MTHFR. Perhaps see if you can get a referral to a reproductive specialist.

I agree with the poster below. Don't beat yourself up. I've been through the TTC journey too, and it was discouraging and frustrating. But, through the help of doctors, I was able to accept my body and its shortcomings. I did eventually get pregnant. The important thing is not to give up.

I'm sorry you're having trouble. I've been there and I know how much it sucks.

12 months TTC is usually when doctors will consider testing you and your partner for issues that may have contributed to your lack of success thus far. Talk to your GYN about testing. There are tons of things they can check out to see if they can discover the reason.

I know it's scary. Please be kind to yourself and your body. I got so angry and depressed when my body "let me down" by not getting pregnant, and it almost ruined me. Talk to your partner, share when you're feeling down, and approach things as a team. It will help.

It took us many years of testing and treatments, but IVF worked for us and we're now expecting twins. I wish you the best of luck.
