Post-IVF transfer question: Did you take 3 days of bedrest or did you do light exercise like walking?

Hey ladies, wondering of all you out there who have gone through at least one IVF transfer, what was your protocol for exercise immediately after the transfer? My doctor said I could do light walking around the block and such even that same day. But I know many prescribe bed rest for a few days. What did you do? And was your IVF transfer successful?

My doc just told me to take it easy for 36 hrs.  They didn't have me lay down for any time after the retrieval. They just had me get up and let me walk out to my car myself.  I just spent 2 days laying in bed/on the couch and working from home. I wasn't too strict about it, I got up to shower, get food to eat, let the dogs out etc. And I just found out that it worked and I'm pregnant. The other comments are right though if you look up studies online they say bed rest doesn't matter at all.

I went straight back to work that morning. Studies have shown there's no benefit of bed rest (unless there's a medically required reason). I got my BFP, so moving around straight after worked for me!

I did 3 days of bed rest.  My RE told me no standing or walking unless it's to just get up and go to the bathroom.  He didn't even want me to take a shower for those 3 days bc I would be standing too long.  My transfer was successful.  I just found out yesterday I'm pregnant ;) I'm off bed rest back to normal activities but still not cleared for light excersise or lift anything over 20 lbs.

My doctor prescribed 72 hours of bedrest. I laid in the couch for ever. I only got up to shower, get food, and to let out dog out. I did get a BFP but it ended up being a blighted ovum.

(My first transfer was not successful and now I'm considering trying a few days of bed rest after my next transfer. But I'm not sure what's better to do!)
