PRE-SEED

I have seen a lot of people who are curious about pressed lately, even asking about lubricants and saliva. I would like to give you some insight on some of these.

If you are ttcing and are looking for a lube that is good for ttcing NEVER use saliva. Saliva KILLS sperm plus you can end up with some bacteria transfering to your vagina. (The human mouth is one of the dirtiest of places.)

Regular lube creates a type of barrier that can prevent sperm from getting to the cervix, some lubes also have spermicide in them.

I would highly suggest preseed as it is a sperm friendly lube. Now I'm not saying it's impossible to get pregnant with saliva or regular lube but they AREN'T as good as Pressed.

Here is sperm with regular lubricants:

and here is sperm with Preseed:

Preseed mimics vaginal secretions so it is safer to use, most doctor offices use it as well.

Why would I need Preseed? Preseed can be used for anyone who is ttcing. If you are ttcing and are drier for any reason this might help you alot. Even if you aren't dry you can use this, especially if sex seems a bit...rough.

How much will I need? It depends. If you read the instructions it will tell you. BUT some people are different. For example. Anne might need to go to the first line whereas Janette might only need a drop.

How can I apply it? To apply it you can use the applicator or you can use your finger. It can be applied internally or externally.

How long will it take me to get Pregnant on Preseed? It varies, it might work the first try or you might need to use it longer. On the box it will tell you that after 6 months to talk to your doctor of no success. It really depends and there have been people who use it for long periods. There are people who use it without ttcing.

When should I stop using it? You should stop using it ASAP if you have any irritation to it or allergic reaction to it. Consult an OBGYN ASAP.

Can I use it during pregnancy? The box says no but you should really ask your OBGYN about it. Recently it has been noted that it can be used during pregnancy, just make sure you read your box and talk to your OBGYN to make sure you are in the clear.

Should I believe the rumors on preseed? No, there is no scientific proof behind these rumors. Such rumors are: It allows the slower or malformed sperm to fertilize the egg, you are more likely to miscarry due to the bad sperm, and the like.

If you are going to miscarry you are going to miscarry, there is no preventing it. Preseed allows the sperm to move through the vagina and cervix as it will mimic the natural fertile cervical mucus. The dead sperm will stay behind and the slow sperm will still be slow, the vagina and uterus is like a giant obstacle course. The more strong and mature sperm will get to the egg faster than the slower one, so you should not worry about these rumors.
